Labrador Retrievers at WatersEdge Farm in the Morning

We have been breeding, training, hunting, and competing with our Labrador Retrievers since 1995. Our Labradors participate in many activities including: AKC Conformation Shows, AKC Obedience Trials, NAHRA & AKC Hunt Tests, Therapy Work and WCF-O Canine Musical Freestyle.  They are happy affectionate dogs who are lovely to look at and eager to please.

Our AKC registered Labrador Retrievers are from show lines that can be traced back to some of the top show lines in the United States and England.  We are hobby breeders who breed selectively and only every few years.  Great importance is placed on temperament and physical soundness of our dogs and puppies.  All breeding dogs have age appropriate health clearances. Our puppies are raised in a family environment to assure proper socialization with people and dogs of all ages.

We are members of, the Labrador Retriever Club, Inc., the Labrador Retriever Club of the UK, the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac, the Northern Neck Kennel Club of Virginia, the Old Dominion Retriever Club and the Rappahannock River Retriever Club.

Elizabeth and Roger Atkins and WatersEdge Labrador Retrievers are located in the historic Northern Neck of Virginia, which is bordered by the Potomac & Rappahannock Rivers and the Chesapeake Bay.  We are 70 miles from Richmond and Fredericksburg, Virginia and 110 miles from Washington, D.C.
